The Times are changing and the program has been sliding since the 2020 season. I ain't calling for his head but something needs to change when you can't even "Win The Opener" against Duke!

Starting the season with a 7-28 loss is the wrong way to start the season. Both offense and defense earned blame for the loss.
There should not be any similar games like this later this season. If the losses mount, then a conditional plan would need to be executed. If conditions are not met to "trend upward," then separation becomes necessary.

That's the beauty of it...you get to look for a better fit. We are talking about a guy who absolutely refuses to adjust with the climate of this sport...Duke has a transfer from Stanford who has a sack and 3 TFL...are you watching this game? This program sucks and he's done nothing but blow smoke up our @$$ for months!

Get used to it. The contract is for 10 years and a total of 115 million. There isn't enough money in the world to buy him out even if the board wanted to - which they don't. You can't fire someone with 8 years left on his contract. Wake up and smell the coffee.

100% agreed. Either he comes out with a public “repentance” - hey, I goofed, I’m changing and we will be attacking the portal.
Or, terminate immediately. The game has long passed him by. Any AD worth their grain in salt would terminate immediately. Dabo is a charachature of his former self.

That’s ridiculous. Hopefully it’s a wake up call tho. Goodwin is a bust. Grisham is a bust. Riley and Klubnik need time. Klub should have played more last year. FSU built a powerhouse from the portal. We really only needed a WR or 2

Dabo fumbled twice in the red zone, missed two chip shot FGs, dropped 4 passes, missed 6 tackles, missed dozens of blocks, and then gave up.
This one is on the players. Lesson: You play this bad, you lose.
Buck up. Own it. Accept responsibility. Get tougher. Care more. Learn from these mistakes.

Dabo isn’t built for the changes in college football and honestly I don’t know if I am as a fan. This is weirdly the least I’ve ever cared about a loss and the least excited I’ve ever been for a season. College football doesn’t feel the same anymore.

You just can’t blame Dabo for fumbling the ball away, twice and muffing a field goal, all from the 5 yard line and in. That would’ve given us 17 points at a point where we would have been nursing a decent lead. Momentum means a lot and we gave it to Duke with those misfires

As much as I want to, I can’t do it. He is close to being the best coach in Clemson history. I think this loss has brought him back to earth. He has devolved a big ego over the years, but winning 2 national titles will do that to you. The bottom line is that we have to recruit. We just don’t have the playmakers that we are used to. I still don’t think there’s anyone better than Dabo to lead this team

I agree. We have been on the decline since LSU loss. Last great recruiting class we had was 2019 . Once they are all gone, we will be hard pressed to get top recruits. NIL will be the death of this program.
