contract extension. I'm excited about possibly making the tournament but it will cost us.

Thought you already said the UNC win would save his job for another year vs your other post saying 10 more years. Still trolling?

But if he makes tournament and has back to back road wins over UNC and Syracuse, that was almost back to back to back Duke, UNC, and Cuse, he will and should get an extension. Not to mention wins over very good South Carolina and Alabama teams.

Goin 13 years without any major accomplishments sacks, but Tiger basketball could and has at times been much worse.

He will not be fired. It would be like firing a Duke football coach that is winning 6, 7 and occasionally 7 games a season. Plus no player bad grades or behavior scandals.

Clemson admin should not think of our basketball as Duke football, but thats what uts been through history. It is not as limited as Duke football and could go higher.

To answer your question though, Brad Brownell will receive an extension.

It's not fair to consider the previous 13 years. An extension should only be based on this year alone, with his best team ever, and if he makes the tournament, that should count for at least four years into the future.
