He got his degree, he met all his obligations. Not his fault the backup wasn’t better in time, or the coaches didn’t/couldn’t fix him. As much as I was aggravated during the season, and I freely admit throwing my fair share of shade, what it comes down to is this: he’s a 21 yr old kid who had all kinds of hell thrown at him from every direction over the last two years, and he never quit.

He will go on to do great things in life.

I also think he will do well in life based on his character.

It won’t be in football but it doesn’t have to be. It’s not like I went on to be a professional tennis player but I did ok in life. Life after sports

Maybe that money and his good character is what kept him here in an Offense that clearly was not suited for him long enough to give his understudy time to grow and develop enough to take over the Offense which specifically matched his skillset.
