If we join SEC, recruiting should move up a few notches.B1G?

Not sure about the effect of joining the B1G. There are always going to be kids who want to play in the SEC, and so they rule us out. Dabo and staff deserve a lot of credit for being able to counter this, especially in their early years at Clemson, before we'd really "arrived" nationally.
I'm curious what others think about the effect joining the B1G would have, positive or negative.

B1G will not have the same effect on recruiting for us as SEC. Not even close. Mostly because we are in the south, but also it’s just not the same pull for any team except Ohio St.

Don't have a clue about the Big, but I've said over the past decade that if Clemson was in the SEC, we would most likely have as many 5 star players as Bama, UGA, LSU, or Florida!!! We have lost a lot of 5 star recruits only bc of being in the ACC....
