If we HAD to lose 1 game this year which would it be?

I know I know, we don't want to lose any but if we had to have 1 loss which would you take?
Can't be Louisville or FSU because losses in those would likely mean losing the division. Can't be to SC for obvious reasons.
So which of the remaining games could we most likely drop and still get into the playoff? It very well could be the game tomorrow night.

because losing @ BC or @ Wake would be considered really bad losses and losing at home to any of the other ACC teams would be detrimental

If we lose a game we will not be in the playoffs.
At the end of the season the only team ranked we play will be Louisville.
The ACC Atlantic is going to come down to the game OCT 1st.
After that Louisville has a cake walk in ACC play.

If GT beats Clemson that would probably mean they are the real deal and they for sure would be ranked. Clemson is the hardest team we play imo. Florida state would be ranked as well. So a 1 loss to a ranked team but beating 2 high ranked teams and winning the acccg would put y'all in the playoff I believe.

FSU has no QB and a D that's not going to carry them.

I agree with tomorrow night. We would still have plenty of season left with opportunities for big wins and I would think the committee wouldn't punish us much for losing on the road on a Thursday night with only 4 days to prep for the option.

That's the only ACC game we can afford to lose and MAYBE still make the ACCCG. Depends on how the tiebreakers fall.

beaten them but Georgia tech would be the next choice just because losing to Louisville or FSU would likely keep us out of the ACCCG and we would need a good bit of help to get to the playoffs. All the other teams would be bad losses and late season losses which would definitely keep us out of the playoffs. Luckily we should beat Georgia tech decisively unless players go down and we implode.
