So we go Under center own our own 1 yard line and game own the line BUTTTT, we can't with the ball inside the opposing teams 1 yard line or on 4th and inches?????
Morris, your excuses don't cut it. If it "ain't what we do" then bye gum....start doing it. If a qb can't take a snap uc or isn't comfortable doing so then he ain't a D1 qb Much less the #1 qb recruit in the country. And btw. It's your job morris, dabo...whoever, to make him comfy. I'm sorry but sometimes some good ole common sense would be nice..
Instead of trying to be so freaking cute....
And trying to out smart the defense.....you end up out smarting your self.

There should be 1,000 posts about this. The guy is making $1MM+ and is a stubborn a-hole that continually hurts this team. Ready for him to GTFO of town already. Between him running Watson until he's hurt (again), his garbage 4th & inches calls, and his predictable, awful playcalling, I'm done with this guy. So tired of his arrogance.

Given that neither of two quarterbacks took a snap from under center in more than one short yardage situation with the exception of one instance might not indicate to you that the problem is not the QBs but possibly the center and OL? There was no choice but to risk the under center exchange at the end of the game because, in the shotgun, the QB would have been standing in our end zone. That would have resulted in a sure safety based on the performance of the OL.

all the more reason to get up under center on 4th and goal from the one or less than one. You don't want to lose yardage in this situation, because this is almost the equivalent of losing points, like a safety. We've lost a number of potential points by going backwards on 4th and A YARD OR LESS goal to go. We should get seven most of the time, and not to get any is worse than a safety.

I wonder what Morris would do with the #1 QB in the country, if he wasn't comfortable handing the ball off to a 6'2" RB that gained 5 to 8 yards average per play. Or if the #1 QB wasn't comfortable throwing the ball to a 5'9" receiver that could catch everything that come close to him. Would he not play those guys, or would he get the #1 QB comfortable with doing his job as a QB. I think that is just Morris doing things his way or no way. And if the #1 QB in the country can't play under center, he can't play in the NFL either. And if all of this is true, DeShaun will be with us for 4 years!!!
