Dabo has made his position on the portal clear. He hates the direction the sport is going and will not compromise by paying players to transfers, regardless of the result. I 100% agree with you and would get one if I were a coach, but have little confidence he would do the same.

If either of those enter the portal, it’s because someone has already bought them. No reason for them to enter the portal unless someone has already offered them more money than Kentucky or NC State respectively.
And In order to make an offer before the player enters the portal, someone would have to tamper.
Does anybody from Clemson want to tamper with either of those rosters? Not likely.

MBT sums up the portal transfers perfectly for the top tier talent.
Those guys don’t go into the portal unless someone has already committed to a big dollar NIL deal.
Dabo does not play that game.

Hard pass on both. I enjoy watching selfless players who play for the team and love of the game not themselves. Guys like Tyler Davis, XT, ETN, Christian Wilkins, Clelin Ferrell, etc. no need for hotdogs who want to draw attention to themselves and try to show up the other team when they make a play.
