While making a hit on a non-suspecting player garners you immediate Heisman mention, this one, which in my opinion is much better, didn't even make David Dunham All-ACC.

Clowney's hit was a tackle.
The tackle was for about a 5 yard loss.
He forced a fumble in the process.
He then recovered the fumble himself, resulting in a turnover.

The hit you linked was just a big hit, not even a big tackle. Not really comparable at all.

Reid knocked him the F out, and like Clowney's hit, Reid also got a lot of national attention because of it. Much more comparable.

Man I loved that game. All the crap we hear from our feathered friends about the SEC and FSU is nothing. Then they get matched up and pounded. I LOVED THAT GAME!!!!!

Also, who cares what Clowney does? Sure he is a great player, but this is a CLEMSON board, I want to talk about CLEMSON things, like how Tajh will win the Heisman next year and Dabo will lead us to the promised land of a national championship!!
