Check with Dan Quayle on how to spell potato.

Both spellings are correct. The media was wrong on that one

True, but "pertaayter" is also one of the "correct" spellings. Just saying that "potato" is the generally accepted present day correct spelling.

I remember when it was called the Humanitarian bowl in the late 90" s. I think it was 1998 maybe and Clemson had been left out all of the other bowls and the fans were sending faxes to the bowl officials to try and get Clemson an invite. It worked and the Tigers played Louisiana Lafayette in the snow. Think Dantzler was the QB.
