were outright horrible.
They called 3 fouls on us playing perfect defense on drives. Luckily, Bama missed some of those FTs down the stretch. Rarely see something like that at that level...now in my middle school games, all the gotdang time.

Well, it's not quite what I was looking for, but I'll take a round ball win too.
I have not been a Brownell apologist, but I have to give credit where credit is due. He did a great job of coaching last night.
This is a well balanced team with some unsung players contributing. Ian Schieffelin was a man on the boards last night and Josh Beadle made two nice baskets just before the half to put us in the lead.
Keep it going Tigers. If we stay healthy, this team could do some really good stuff.

So every week before I hit the grocery store, I pop into Dollar Tree for a few items that I can't get at the grocery. Over the last few years, I've made friends with the manager in that store, a really sweet lady who always looks after me but she's a die-hard Bama fan. We talk sports every time I'm in there...never contentious but more like a pair of 'nervous about our team' fans. She wasn't there when we were beating Bama for Nattys, so this is the first meeting of our schools and the Tgers came out on top. Should be a fun trip to the Dollar Tree this week.
