Can anyone explain why the Shipley fumble at the goal line was not reviewed? For the life of me I cannot. It is arguably the game-deciding play and it is not clear to me whether the fumble occurred before or after crossing the goal line.

I don’t disagree, but it is a huge call and it is NOT cut and dry they got it right. I have watched it 20 times now and I think - THINK - they got it right, but it is hard to tell. In my opinion, it demands a second look.

I don't think it would have been overturned, but surprised it didn't take longer to look at when the ball actually came out compared to the goal line (the announcers were more concerned about his knee, but never said anything about the goal line).

Agree, it was not going to be overturned either way (and I do think the call is the correct one), but still it is a huge call where you already have a natural break. Make sure you get the call right.
