that with the banged up offensive line and running backs we will have to throw down field to open the run game and Cole is just not very good at it. These Defenses are able to crowd the line of scrimmage and we can do very little about it. I know that Dabo keeps defending Cole but I really think that is just a dog and pony show for Cole and the media. He cant stand up there and be honest in this situation because he apparently doesn't have a better option available. You can tell that Dabo and Chad light up when they talk about getting Watson back. Hopefully Deshaun will be healthy and ready to go for GT because as good as our D is. With Cole we are a single busted play away from losing games against teams that we should be beating easily. If we keep riding that line it will come back on us. GT and SC scare me if Deshaun is not healthy and playing like he was before the injury. If he is locked and loaded I think we win those games by 14 or more with our defense.

angst about offensive ineptitude would go away.

We have moved the ball the last two weeks, esp last week, but haven't been able to finish drives with TD's.

And it's not all just b/c it gets more difficult when you get close. That option play was beautiful but Davidson flubbed the catch. Humphries actually scored but the ref blinked.

I suspect that Cole is playing hurt, b/c his passing looks weaker than it ever has.
