We don't need a flash in the pan pop song that my 13 year old daughter and her friends like to be associated with our football team. I was in school when Eye of the Tiger came out and I knew the band would start playing it at games. I may be in the minority, but I still don't like that either.

I think like always, some on this board lack the reading comprehension skills needed to understand the OP. There's a difference in playing a song (that Redneck football fans don't know, they type that yell "play Freebird" at every event they've ever been to,most of you fit this category) and saying one of the BIGGEST Pop stars in the world today should be singing LIVE at the MNC game.
If we make it to Pasadena, I could care LESS who the live entertainment is, what color the jersey's are or if they wear white helmets, SPOT THE D@MN BALL.
