A head coach ?

Could save schools a lot of money by eliminating this position altogether.

Our intramural team didnt have a coach at all and we did alright

Many teams find that they are better off w/o a HC, but only after having paid millions for the lesson.

I think interims do pretty well for the most part....

Maybe someone could figure out a way to have perpetual interims.... Notice I didn't say permanent interims because that would make no sense at all....

WE can do that - and do without an OC also.

With today's fast internet, we could set up a poll thread, give all qualified T-Net plsy-callers a play sheet and appoint T-Net coaches to vote on the play call.

As soon as the whistle blows, each T-Net coach would have 10 seconds to record his vote in the poll. After 10 seconds, the poll would tally the votes and the winning play call would be automatically sent to the QB who qould have a radio receiver in his helmet.

He would then know what play to run... simple and our play calls would be highly successful.

Just imagine never having another dumb play call..... :)
