I don't agree. We have a good defense that will slow them, though we've been a bit weak to the pass. I think we can hold them to 21-24 points. So we need 25 points. Not sure we can get it since they're so much better than the teams we've played other than UGA on defense.

The two turnovers in my epiphany. I was watching the UGA-UK game on TV and had the Pitt-VT game on the other TV. I fell into a deep slumber when the dog barked twice which jostled me awake and 34 Clemson popped in my head.

Eh.... UGA is averaging 40 a game, Pitt 52 (which includes Umass, New Hampshire--77, a loss to W Michigan scoring 41--giving up 44, and Tenn).


We held UGA to 3 offensive points... I understand we were closer to full strength then, but we were not 100%... We can grind one out similar to last night, 20-13, 17-14 type range. Our defense will keep us in all our games.

Even the mighty power rangers gave up a ton of points against Scar in 2018 Clemson's greatest team. Scar was about .500 that year and Bentley had over 500 yards. Arrogance is the enemy.

I think unfortunately it is going to be a “slow death” much like NC State. Allot of 3 and outs from our O and our D not getting off the field. I think we are going to drop this one. 24- 10 Pitt.
