developmental program. Both from a player and coaching perspective and all these internal promotions to key coaching positions is a reflection of his philosophy. My only reservation with this approach is that it has the potential to stifle innovation and reinforce complacency.

Ultimately no one can doubt Dabo's desire to win and it is apparent he thinks the developmental coaching model will accomplish that objective. I look forward to seeing these coaches in their new roles and hope the best is yet to come...

these old posts complaining about the quality of these staff hires and mock them like they do with the anti-Dabo posts from 2008.

that would be cool.

I'd give two (2) thumbs up for your observation if TNet would allow it, TigerSwimmer.

I think Dabo has been playing the long game. He has had the luxury to play the long game unlike in 2010-2013

Conn/Goodwin came onboard after the first title push (DW years) - Streeter in the post Chad vacuum. In theory, we likely should have lost a coordinator or two and really our coordinators *could have left* at any time afterward. We were lucky to keep them around but you don't just sit any wait. I think Dabo had the luxury of IDing replacements, getting them up to speed while TE and BV hung around - but also knowing they could leave at any time. THAT was the development time. It already happened.

I don't think it stifles innovation. Napier is innovative. But being innovative only works once. You need time to develop innovation in a sustainable pace. That is *culture*.
