who grew up 4 miles from Clemson like South Carolina?

I could understand if he wanted to leave home and go to Ohio State. That's pretty cool. But I don't understand South Carolina.

It's a foregone conclusion to everyone that it's a 2 horse race between the ##### and buckeyes, but you'd think we'd have a shot.

Sutherland spent more Saturdays at Death Valley when he was growing up than he could count. Loved the chickens and hated Clemson, but always went to the Clemson games. Can't believe we couldn't convert him back then.

Ohio State is the heavy favorite of his right now. I doubt his official visit changes that but anything is possible. SC is his current instate favorite.

Although he did say OSU was Hill’s favorite school growing up, he also said location close to family would be a major factor.
He has family in Atlanta & Pendleton, which brings GT into the picture.

Defensive scheme would also be a factor. Hill likes a 4 man front (Clemson) over a 3 man front (GT).
