I guess I would be considered a pumper, but my question

Nov 16, 2014, 10:33 AM

is: Is CM really that good a coach? Sammy, Andre, Tajh et. al. would make me look good. But when he has a missing piece, he can't seem to overcome it. A great coach is one that leads his players to be better than they are supposed to be. Not convinced that CM is that. Reminds me of Purnell, coach kids in such a way as they don't play to win, but play to not lose.

No sir...you are right on target. Clemson has been exposed as a "one trick pony" football team. You lose the QB and the entire team just folds?? Injuries are part of football and good programs which Clemson is not have adequate replacements and you move on. Good recruiting equals good replacements. You had to realize that when Clemson under CS just managed to defeat a bunch of very mediocre ACC teams and earlier lost to the two good programs on the schedule, that this was a "smoke and mirrors" team. If you listen to all the Clemson "homers" on WCCP you would think that the Tigers really belonged in the National conversation. We don't! Once again we are not relevant and will play in a lower tier bowl game. And I hate so say this but South Carolina with their good QB will be very formidable on 29 November. At least our defense usually gives us a chance in every game but that was not the case Saturday. Who to blame...it starts at the top...coaching and the preparation and motivation that good coaching instills. And Dabbo is the best dancer according to ESPN Gameday...gimme a break. Maybe next year??

To be honest... He never should have been hired.

Clemson seems to have a problem with getting coaches that aren't proven. Only good hire I believe they have made is venables. He had actually coached at the college level for a while. I would love nothing more than to see CM gone. He is a tommy bowden. Has mass amounts of
Talent surrounding him but still finds a way to under produce.

And I thought I was the only who thought that about Dabo.

Agreed, Dabo should have NEVER been hired.

Still, way in over his head.

Sarcasm or do you actually agree?***

I'm ok with Dabo, I think he is good a knowing where he is lacking and tries to hire good people to make up for those deficits. But the more CM works this season, the more he reminds me of Rob Spence (who was supposed to be an offensive guru). Don't have confidence in him. Love BV, awesome hire.

Hmmm Danny Ford says Hi! He didn't have any prior HC experience either.

Did you say that last year too? And the year before?***

I'm curious...are some of you purely retarded or just pretending to be retarded? We were all fortunate to not have to use our back up QB often during Tahj B era...spoiled if you will...I don't think some of you realize how YOUNG this offense really is...We have no QB other than Watson, that can run this offense effectively, allowing CM to open up the fckn playbook. There's no limits to Watson...Stoudt, yes there are...he's slow, inaccurate, terrible reads, and doesn't even look at the game clock...that limits the play calling for CM...hence the 3 picks and 2 of them for 6...so I ask...what the fck is he or Dabo supposed to do? Sh!t out a clone Watson? You realize we lost to an experienced Tech team that starts 8 Seniors on Offense and like 5 of those talentless MFers are red shirt Seniors...we lost because Watson got hurt...everyone knows that... Move on
