about 2 teams per conference since NO other conference has benefited more from the BCS system over the last few years than the SEC.

Do we really know that '12 Oregon wasn't the best team in the country? Or '11 OK St.? Or TCU in '10?

The BCS was setup to assure that the best 2 teams play for the championship. After that its just a high payout bowl game.
