He can walk away and leave in a few years for only 3 million, but we have to pay 20 million to fire the guy...

That's absurd. Good for him, and I doubt we would be firing the guy anyway... But good lawd that's a heck of a deal for Dabo.

something so one-sided. I recall how scared many folks were that TB was leaving for Arkansas, never thinking about what would happen if things went south, which of course they did. I like Dabo and certainly think we need to pay him market rate, but why make the terms of the contract so one-sided. Other than maybe Texas or Bama, where would Dabo find a better gig than Clemson?
