unquestionably be their first choice but let’s say they know there is no way they could get him. They basically could get anyone they want outside of Kirby.
If you were Alabama, who would you want?

We played this game for a decade at FSU. Every year the hot name would change.
My prediction on Saban's replacement: He isn't on anybody's list of top 20 most likely candidates. He ain't even on the radar right now. If Saban were going to retire after this season, we might could have a shot. But, 5 to 10 years in football is an eternity. His replacement might be some obscure assistant at an obscure school in an obscure conference right now.

Or a coordinator on Saban’s staff and we know those change frequently.

Don't know who, but I do believe the person will come from Hueytown, just because I think it's a cool name.

I don't understand the incentive from Dabo's perspective.

By the time Saban retires, Dabo will have already earned enough at Clemson to have truly generational wealth. His kids and grandkids and probably great-grandkids will want for nothing.
Provided that he continues to produce at Clemson for the next 10ish years, he could retire and we'll build him a statue outside Memorial Stadium. He rides off into the sunset as a legend and enjoys his retirement, probably fishing with Saban.
On the other hand, he could leave Clemson and go perpetually live in the shadow of Saban, with his job on the line game after game, year after year, always being compared to Saban, dealing with the media, dealing with boosters, everything else.
I don't see it. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't imagine Dabo choosing the latter.

Coach "O" would be a perfect fit for Alabama fans if he has blown that 17m by the time Nicky retires.

Izzy Smoke. Like her name and nice to look at or that LPGA golfer who has an abundance of talent. They would allow me to watch Alabama games and Aflac commercials without cringing.

We could run the team as a democracy. Vote on the starters and so on. Let Spud relay our wishes to the team on the sidelines since he is such an agreeable fellow.

Obviously the most knowledgeable man in college football. He's never coached, but he knows twice as much as any active coach. Just ask him. (pun intended) He could hire Steven A as his coordinator of the O and D.
