after what this Alabama search has put everyone through. It was a tough year on many fronts but Dabo turned a rough start into a solid finish. He brought in another good recruiting class and added some coaches who I believe are the right men for the jobs. We still have work to do but at least we know we have a man of integrity that will stick with us and see it through. As this process showed us, there really are not that many elite coaches in America. The class is pretty small and as Bum Phillips would say, "it does not take very long to call the roll."

God bless Dabo and God bless Clemson. Our sports programs overall are having a good year and it really is a great time to be a Tiger!

throughout the Clemson family despite the typical grumblings a coach will hear over losses.

Our season wasn't perfect, but we still put nine wins on the board...wins that a whole lot of other programs can only be envious. We might not agree with all his decisions, but then again, a whole lot of Clemson people smarter than most of us are paying him the megabucks to run the program.

Most importantly, he has scaled the highest mountain, planted the Tiger Paw atop for all the world to see, and he knows how he did it, not once, but twice! I'd lay odds on that type of man over all the want-to-be's, could-have-been's, know-it-all's, detractors, subtracters and protractors claiming guru status, when in fact most wouldn't be worthy enough to carry along toilet paper for our Coach to wipe his behind!

GO TIGERRRRRS! NOW LET'S GET READY TO KICK SOME DAWG ASSSSSSSS!

I would at a minimum call it a really good year. Me personally it has been a great year. We already have a national championship in men's soccer. More possible to come.
