How far do we need to get in ACC tourney to have a shot?

Aside from winning of course with the automatic bid, what do we need to accomplish for an at large bid, or is it even in reach? Would getting to the championship game be enough? Quarterfinals? Just beating a Duke/NC/Syracuse team?

I felt we needed to win today - that would have given us
a 20 game win season - plus maybe winning 2 games in the tournament.
Now I think we have to get to the semi's and even then
I don't know if that will be enough.
Today's loss was a tough pill to swallow!

think making the semis would've been enough. after today, we have to win the ACC tourney to get in. making the CG puts us firmly in the last in-last out group that's sweating it out on selection sunday. anything short of the CG, NIT for sure.

Please stop the madness! There is no path to the NCAA other than winning the tournament. Too many losses on the ledger, and some that are not very impressive. The fact that this team plays hard, and usually well at home, does little to help their cause.
