Mr OSF woke Sunday the 16th with back pain, by Monday evening he had EXTREME diarrhea that finally stopped Thursday evening, by Saturday he couldn't get himself off the couch or out of bed without assistance. Sunday the 23rd; we realize that nothing we were doing seemed be helping to improve his situation so to the Abbeville emergency room we went. We arrived around 4pm and by 6pm he had been diagnosed was being transported to another hospital. At the new hospital, they confirmed his colon had burst and a large hole was allowing waste into his body. After being told the doctor didn't believe Mr OSF would make thru the night if the didn't get him into surgery immed, he went at 11pm last night came back to his room at 3am this morning.

Today is a change man, large improvement. We'll see how tomorrow goes when they make him get out of bed. But I think he is going to be just fine now.

I'm exhausted; not sure if its from lack of sleep, being terrified or both.
