Did anybody think we would go undefeated?

We all knew this team had a lot of question marks going into the season, especially on the defensive side of the ball. This game on the road against FSU is the toughest test we will face all season, including Carolina. People saying we suck and Venables needs to be fired are being way too emotional and just downright immature.

FSU we most likely play for the national title. They have one of the best defenses in the country and we put up 38 points on them. No reason to think we can't win out and possibly get an at-large bid to a BCS bowl.

Nope. But our defense looked about as tough as a wet roll of charmin.

I'm not calling for anyone's job. It's way too early for that. But two things are readily apparent from this game.

Clemson has a dang good offense and dang poor defense.

Let's just hope that BV can get this defense looking respectable before somebody backs a truck load of cash up to the Chad's house.

Arkansas is gonna need them a coach at the end of the year, I just hope they look elsewhere.

Toughness was not the issue last night. The bottom line is we have to recruit better on the offensive and defensive lines. We got no push up front all night and never got any pressure on EJ Manuel. I think in a way Venables played not to lose last night. We could have been more aggresive in pass coverage and not gave up the short throws.

Honestly I thought FSU hurt themselves a lot in the first half. Probably would have won by more had they not f-ed themselves early on.
