From the SBNation Miami Blog 'State of the U" this nugget about the upcoming game with Clemson:

"This year, with the Canes playing Florida State on the road, this week's game vs Clemson now becomes the biggest recruiting weekend of the football season. With 3 Official Visits on the books, and many (most?) HS players using this week for their 1 free ticket to attend a Canes game, this Saturday's game could mean more than just a W or L on the books for this season's record."

A coworker and I were talking - he thinks most of the Miami recruits were only there so they could try and get noticed by our staff. Knowing the state of their program, he may be correct.
