I well remember that 60 point victory. The Tigers played guys no one had ever heard of ... and they scored too! Halloween if I remember correctly. Lots of tricks and no treats for the poor Deacs that day I had a souvenir cup from that game and, being the smart a$$ that I am , I gave it to my neighbor. A WF doctor.. Wish I had it back.
I sure would like to see another Saturday but I’m afraid Mr.Hartman will not allow that. He’s a baller.

Yeah. Dan Foster of the Greenville News wrote, "It was Halloween, and Wake Forest came disguised as a football team." He was great, by the way.

They're like the SCar of the ACC in that category. SCar losses have ended many a SEC coach's tenure over the years.

I was unfortunate enough to attend 45-17 in Winston-salem

in 2003 ... it was 45-0 when I headed for the parking lot.
If you've ever been taunted by Wake fans, you'll never forget it.
Thanks Tommy Bowden for those nightmares.
"Come back Clemson fans, you only need 15 field goals" is the one I still remember.

Yea same here, was not a good day for us Tiger fans who had to sit inside Groves stadium and watch our Tigers get a beatdown put on them that particular day.I stayed till the end and if it was not for already having a reservation at a hotel then I would have just drove the 5 hours back home right after the game but the game did not get over until late. That was one of the longest Sunday drives I have had to take after a Clemson loss like that one and there have been a few.

I never mark a loss on anything until the last tick of the 4th quarter.
