Clemson’s Lauren Terstappen wins pole vault at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia area native Lauren Terstappen won the women’s pole vault Thursday to begin Clemson’s three-day stint at the Penn Relays, the world’s oldest annual track & field competition. Terstappen is from Phoenixville, just a 45-minute drive from Franklin Field, site of the Penn Relays.
The redshirt graduate student was the only competitor to clear the bar at 13-5.25, and she did it on her first attempt to claim the championship. It was the second clearance of 13-5 or better this outdoor season for Clemson’s record-holder in the event

We have arrived!
Day in, day out grind with ACC poles and ACC grass. . .the others just couldn't compete at an ACC level.
That's ACC height right there, y'all. Woot!

haha! Penn relays is a big meet, but not a natty. Hogs won that one with 15'1"
However, if we sucked at FB and had terminal little calk syndrome like the folks in cooterville then maybe!!
That said, she is a good vaulter and has done a great job at CU
Not sure who they have to replace her though, she is a grad student and they don't have any others.
