They have had a #### ton enter the portal.

So yes, a bunch of opt outs. A bunch of permanent opt outs.

Georgia has had 18 scholarship players enter the portal. They still need at least 12 more scholarship athletes to leave to make room for their new additions from signing day and Portal recruitment.

Although Georgia has seen some of their highly ranked recruits move on to different universities and start, the only significant loss they have ever had with the transfer Portal has been Justin Fields. And that was their own fault for not playing him. They chose poorly to leave their starter in place and not let Justin Fields take over. That delayed their ascendance to the top of college football for two years.

That decision also came back to bite Clemson as Justin Fields and Trey Sermon (Oklahoma) were two Portal additions to Ohio State that played great in the college football playoffs 2020

The 85 scholarship limit is obsolete thinking if a school has enough NIL money.

has had 7 draft projected players opt out - basically all of their stars. UGA has had zero opt out of the bowl game for the draft. The losses aren’t comparable. In fact, in addition to the 7 NFL prospects, FSU has had 26 others enter the portal to UGAs 15-18?
