Has anybody else noticed DJ’s inability to throw

consistent spiral passes?

There’s a problem somewhere and that obviously makes it more difficult for receivers to catch the ball.

DJ is no doubt a failure… But we also have a crappy wide receiving core

Are wide receiver recruiting has been off for several years now

He throws spirals. Unfortunately the entire world knows he can't see the entire field

The entire world meaning, opposing defensive coordinators? They also know we only run him when absolutely necessary. He rarely scrambles. He only runs designed runs. Also holds onto the ball too long while staring down a particular receiver taking unnecessary sacks. Making the opposing defense feel ignited when anybody can get a sack when the QB just stands in the pocket for 5 seconds

DJ throws a fine ball.

Tonight, our WRs couldn't get open (some of those PI calls which contributed 45 yards to us on the 'big drive' were not on wide open receivers that had sure TDs coming to them if they weren't held. Their DBs were close to our WRs when the PI flags were thrown).

Our WR problem was exposed again tonight. They aren't good enough to get major separation (except for Antonio Williams, who is clearly our best WR ... not even close).

And any 'big time' receiver catches those balls that have a little wiggle to them. This ain't tailgate-time tossing to football to half lit 'WRs' (fans) before staggering into the stadium.

Tears still streaming down my face for when UNC got Andre Greene instead of us (although we did get Antonio Williams as a terrific consolation prize after losing out on Andre Greene).

We need (much) better receivers. Period.

You obviously didn't see the wobblers tonight, I noticed it too. He used to throw good spirals but wobblers are just as common now.
