Not all the time, but usually,there's a reason they can't commit on NSD. UGA can't take another WR that can't read after the draft busted them out on it LOL

Haha wasn't grades with this guy. He originally waited because he needed better SATs for Stanford, which was his first choice, but it didn't work out. GT and ND were other contenders if I recall. Cal is itself arguably the finest public school the country.
It's obvious that academics were this young man's main concern. Frankly I find it sad that someone would make fun of someone trying to take the "student" in student-athlete seriously. Do some research before belittling 17-18 year olds--you might be surprised how mature they can be.

My party was last in stadium in Orange and they were still celebrating beating the mighty Clemson Tigers
So we gave them our caps, paw rags, etc so to take back as souvenirs!

He was good academically. He was waiting to get admission to Stanford. That didn't pan out so he went with what he thought was the next best academic choice. Probably the next best that wasn't in the snow belt (ND).
