like Patrick Sapp to another position and gone pro. Seems like he is a good enough athlete, just not QB.

Logan Thomas didn't make the switch until he got to the NFL and he's carved out a decent career. A lot of guys don't truly realize they don't have what it takes until they get there and see first hand. Julian Edelman was a QB in college, but he's said in interviews that as soon as he got to the patriots and saw Brady drop dimes, he knew he wasn't going to be a QB in the NFL.

DJ just simply has never been "second best" anywhere he has been. Usually it happens in college and they make the switch, but not always

along those lines, guessing fewer guys change positions in college now

they will just move to another school. They may never find their niche. Guys like Tyler Shatley and Patrick Sapp will become rare

The ONLY position I could see him playing would be tight end. Not nearly enough

speed to play a defensive position like linebacker, and not enough oomph to bulk up and play D-Line. Tight End or maybe Offensive Guard would be about it.
