#1- doubt the order to hose the team that hosed his came from Tony

#2–it was disrespectful for VA Tech to pose on Virginia’s field

Glad VA Tech won but they would have been better sports to have forgone the photo. They’ve owned UVA who is their white meat on the schedule.

It's a rivalry. The photo was fine. If someone ordered the code red and turned on the sprinklers in response, that is also fine. Bunch of pansies society has become.

It’s not a big deal for the photo or the sprinkler system. Neither was a moral failing, just kids being kids.

Clemson has owned USC.

VA Tech has owned UVA including beating them 18 out of 19 times since VA Tech joined the ACC.

I guess I’m just more old school and like Jim Brown’s approach to scoring and winning, celebrate, but act like you’ve done it before.

16-7 is all that really matters from Saturday night.

Honestly, I’m not either. Not a great look. But this stuff happens everywhere and on both sides unfortunately. Sometimes even the head coaches get involved and go on a rant for the entire world to see. It’s tough for a kid raised today to win with humility. You can even watch clips of grade school kids doing celebration dances after they score. You know somebody taught them that. The other issue is losing with dignity. It’s tough to do when the winning team is over there celebrating the way they are. It’s the ugly but real side of competition. And I feel like I’m sharing way too much about this subject right now. So I’m gonna shut up and finish this beer and get ready for bed soon.
