AJC will report something Robert may have said in 9th grade and make it sound like something he said last week. This from Robert is really Butt hurting those News Papers just like AJC. But you got to love it. Gooooo Tigersssss!!!

I've heard from several people

that he hated Bama and that LSU was the only major competition before he committed.

He also mentioned school size as a factor

He didn't want to go to UGa due to the large number of students enrolled there. Wanted someplace a little less crowded.
LSU, Bama, and Georgia are all close to or over 30,000 total enrollment (graduate and undergraduate). Clemson is under 20,000.

Why? Why in the world would winning a NC make any difference? Listen to what Robert says and you will realize just how out of whack your comment is.

I love the way this young man carries himself.

With all of the BS going on in his world, he just wants to play football. We have had other guys that just wanted the publicity. I do get the sense that RN understands that he will have all the fame and fortune he can dream of if he just keeps his head down and focuses on the game he loves for the next 4 seasons (1HS and 3 with CU)!

Just an example of the type of character that Dabo & coaches are recruiting.

I love his commitment, but I wonder where his Mother is coming from. What Mother would not want her son to be around leaders like our coaching staff? Say what you want about our program, but our coaches exude moral conviction and a duty to help these young men to become solid and productive citizens, both on and off the field.

This is working out great for The Tigers. The more questions
Sep 11, 2012, 3:04 PM
|
|
people ask about WHY he chose Clemson, the more times he gets to answer...and the more times it gets to be printed.
AJC: "RN, how could you pick Clemson over all the great SEC schools?" RN: "Because Clemson is AWESOME."
That will just keep getting reported over and over until February.

He is committed for now. Let me know how this turns out in February, and if he signs with us, I hope he is not another Mike Bellamy, etc.
