For someone that really doesn't follow baseball that much,

it is hard to know judging from the comments if Jack Leggett is still a really great coach or past his prime. It seems to be relatively split down the middle on here but it'd be nice to see some kind of poll to get an idea of what most on here think. It'd be a sample of probably what the majority of the fans think.
As someone that is kind of on the outside looking in, I will say that it seems very early in baseball season. A lot can happen so I wouldn't fly off the rocker just yet. Losing to the coots for the past 5 years in FB has definitely affected fans outlook towards losing to the coots in ANYTHING. You have to ask yourself, is that fair to Leggett? Lets see where this team goes and by season end, I think we'll have a better idea of the direction this program needs to take. What do you guys think? Reasonable? Or should we get the pitch forks and kindling...
IMO, not that it matters to many on here, is that Legget is your best coach of all the major sports. His record over the past twenty years is great, absent a CWS championship...but he has been in contention. It amazes me the number of Clemson fans who will criticize him for losing to an elite USC baseball team, but will defend Dabo for losing to a good USC football team who the same fans will say has won nothing of substance.
