the 1986 game in Athens? Just enough offense, and a defense that rises up time and time again (expect for a couple of breaks), capped by stonewalling the opponent when they had a chance to ice the game ....
.... and a field goal with 0:00 on the clock knowing there was nothing the other guys could do?
That's how I feel today. Like I did then, sitting on the verge of a new era, when all things again are possible to him who believes.

very similar games and coming off probation and a so so 85 season and a home opening loss to VT it was a great win.

The '86 game was a riot. Clemson fans cheering in the endzone for an eternity after the game. My favorite part was chanting "we're not leaving!" At the UGa fans as they filed out of the stadium.

Yes sir it does. Also like the win at Notre Dame. I am so dang proud of our "D"! They were hitting just as hard as the LSU Tigers. Been a looonnnggg time since we could say that. So proud of our Tigers!
