is a win in the bowl game and a move to a better football conference. What FSU had in the nineties was unique. Since that run, how many ACC teams have played for the NC or even finished in the top 4? I'm pretty sure the answer is none. We had 2 chances at quality wins this season and only one last opportunity. In the ACC, we're going to have a chance at 1-2 quality regular season wins per year and that's probably being generous. I get kind of jealous watching the SEC games week in and week out. If we played a better schedule and had 8-10 wins, we'd be garnering a lot more respect, plus we would have a much more interesting season. Outside of basketball, what's fun about ACC sports. Right now, I can't look back on the season and get excited about anything, gazillion points per game and all.

Had we gone 12 and 0 would we be playing ND for the National Championship? I don't know but I expect we would. This year at least. The ACC is a basketball conference and I don't expect that to change anytime soon. ND to the ACC would help. As much as I would like them to, I also don't expect Clemson to leave anytime soon. I'm hoping that when the new playoff system is initiated that it will eventually force conference realignments. We shall see.
