was a long day. Gotta think one or two of those 60+ yard bombs doesn’t happen with him in there… Happy for the win!!! Just an observation

Makuba wasn't the only one missing. Missing one of the top corners in the country didn't help. Also the QB of the defense in Trotter being out. A lot of young guys that will grow and get better. You know we use to believe in development year to year until the transfer portal. I know one thing, Mike Reed will use it to get these guys better. I hate the month layoff bc the NCAA has made it impossible to stay in game shape with all the tag you're it practices.

Some more depth at corner could’ve helped too

Secondary should be fine

Ehhh, I think the guy we really miss is Wiggins, Mukuba's pretty hit or miss to be honest. I think we'll be fine without him and his attitude. Our younger guys in the secondary clearly need some more work, but they also showed a lot of potential, especially in the second half of the season. Remember, the secondary was the best part of this team for most of the season. There are certainly some shoes to be filled, but this unit is well coached and I think they have the depth and talent to do it. I think the secondary will be good again next year, perhaps even better.
