Its almost like anyone with a brain knew this ahead of time.

Fact is the men made more in their 2014 WC than the women made in 2015 and 2019 combined. 9 million vs 6 million.

Are we really talking about a "Men's" team or are we talking about an open team that, to this point, only men have been good enough to make? Most sports do not have restrictions against women playing on the "men's" teams, and there have even been some who attempted to crossover. I do not know what the restrictions for World Cup are, but if a woman was good enough to play on a "Men's" team, it would be the shortest court case in history if it currently is not allowed. I don't need to hear anything about the men having an unfair physical advantage either. Most of us on the board could make the argument that we could be a pro athlete if we were more physically gifted. Plain and simple, if they want equal pay, play with the big boys. If they can't, then we are not talking about equal work.

7/30 LA Times AP: Per Carlos Cordeiro pres US soccer federation 34.1 million paid to women between 2010 & 2018 as opposed to 26.4 for men. Imagine that!!
