Feels like Tommy Bowden Days

I am hoping this teem can pull it together and be the Tigers of the last ten years. But right the past two years it feels more like a Tommy Bowden team than a Dabo team.
There is no edge, no intensity. No drive to win. It feels like we are playing not to lose

There is more talent on this team than if you cherry picked Bowden’s 85 best recruits.

I think our offense would be alot better. Skill positions would be
QB - Woody or Whitehurst (can't remember if Woody came in with Bowden or was already there)
RB - Spiller and JD
WR - Hamilton, Kelly, Ford, Jaron Brown (Gardner wasn't a Bowden recruit)

What was so frustrating about the TB era was that they would win a big game one week but lose to Duke or Wake the next. Duke Loss checked. Maybe it will be like that this year.
He could beat the coots like a drum though!

our past two seasons both had 10 wins. Tommy never win the ACC. Last year we won the ACC.
Eerily similar.

There were rumors of Papa letting his son win to keep his job. I doubt it, but it was an interesting theory back in the day. Glad those days are behind us. Tommy did seem to have the coot's number most years. LOL

for the last few years. Last season we’d build up a lead and basically take the second half off (and I am NOT referring to letting the backups play; I’m fine with that. It’s a major reason we have so much depth). The intensity’s gone, and it’s been gone for a while now.
