Everyone remember that $60 million high school stadium

Feb 28, 2014, 8:33 AM

with a capacity close ot 20,000 that was built in Allen, Texas?

It is now being close indefinitely a mere 18 months after it was opened for extensive cracking in the concrete.

The extent of the problem is not yet known

Dang, they should've hired whoever built Dorman's stadium. That one is solid as a rock.

Concrete work, if not performed properly can be....

Feb 28, 2014, 8:37 AM

unbelieveably costly to correct. This thing has the potential to blow-up big time on some concrete Subcontractor, Architect/Engineer, or Commerical General Contractor.

when you simply elect to use the lowest bidder as opposed to the lowest "qualified" bidder.
