ESPN talking heads love to say we're average without Watson

but if the Houston QB was throwing to our wide receivers, I have a feeling they would be saying Houston would be an average team without him.

Houston's receivers have dropped a lot of passes that our receivers would have caught.
Our receivers catch a lot of passes that would probably fall incomplete to other receivers.
If the Houston QB was throwing to our receivers he would complete more passes and everyone would think he is even better than they say he is.
the experts love to say we're nothing without our QB because he completes a lot of passes.
I'm saying we're as good as we are because we have a lot of good players - not just Watson.
Do I need to explain further?

Without him however we would not be a playoff team.
I haven't heard anybody say it like you are making it out though.
Every playoff contender has a heisman candidate except Bama and I don't think they will be in the top 10 come seasons end.

I don't know if it's Ward or the receivers but man boomer sooner letting them run wide open and they can't connect, imagine what DW4 and our receivers could do. Unfortunately will never happen if OU keeps this up no way they make final 4, Go Tiger's!

but they almost always qualify it by saying that without Watson we would have no chance.
That may be true but maybe it's not. We have a very good, very deep football team. When your team as a whole is very good your stars shine even brighter.
My purpose is not to diminish Watson's value, it is to promote the value of the rest of our players.

I understand but it's somewhat true that DW makes us a playoff team.
I don't think we could win the NC with Nick or Bryant.
