Dutch Fork football

Dutch Fork is coming my way (Dallas) in the fall to play one of the best teams in the country every year, Allen. Their QB is an elite 11 and Clemson has offered. This is the school with the $65 million stadium that is closed, after they found a bunch of cracks in the concrete. Is DF going to be any good. Hope they bring a good defense.

Dutch Fork is pretty good

Very strong on both fronts. Excellent RB who has put up ungodly numbers. The only reason he's not a D1 guy is his size/ health issues. He's a shifty, low center of gravity guy that has some pop. They do all the little things right like limiting penalties and exceptional special teams play.

They're well coached by Tom Knotts. He's taken them from a broken program to an elite SC FB team. He won several titles while at Independence HS in NC. His run while at IHS was nothing short of phenomena. Former FLA QB Chris Leake played under Knotts, among a slew of other D1 guys.

Should be a great matchup.

It's amazing what a coach can do for a program. If memory serves correct, they used to be kind of a doormat team under it's previous coach. But what happened after that DF vs Lex bball game was tragic. Hated to see a young life end so abruptly.
