Hmmm ... which of the 3 final candidates stands out from the other two?

(Of course, all three have excellent FB reputations.)

Auburn - big land-grant college (not the 'flagship' college in a rural southern community whose college name does not bear the name of the state in which it is located). OK academic reputation. SEC.

Clemson - big land-grant college (not the 'flagship' college in a rural southern community whose college name does not bear the name of the state in which it is located). Good academic reputation. ACC.

N.Dame - small private college in a not-rural setting way the heck up north. Admittedly superior academic reputation. Largely "independent" sports reputation (but some leanings towards ACC).
