Does it seem ironic that we appear to be headed back to bowl

game tie-ins. ACC champ in the Orange, SEC and BigXII champs in the SEC/BigXII champ bowl, and B1G and Pac12 in the Rose.

I guess the 4 team playoff makes it all better, though.

prominent bowls have been reassigned. While the B1G/PAC had media rights to the Rose neither the SEC, Big 12 or ACC had media rights to any bowl. The ACC now owns the media rights to the OB while the SEC/Big 12 share the media rights to the Champions Bowl.

These three bowls and three others are named in a rotation for playoff games. That's a pretty good payday for all five conferences. Other than that and each conference's champion guaranteed a spot in these three bowls nothing much has changed.

Agreed to be in the big east so they would have aq status right? Poor broncos.

The Big East did not have AQ rights.

Though their champion was usually placed in a good game. Bosie, evidently saw an opportunity for a promotion. Had they been more than the average junior college academically they may have made a better target for conference realignment. As it is now they are doing as well as they can.

They were not tied to any one bowl game like the other 5 but were garenteed a spot. That is why they were usually selected by the bowl with the last pick.
