Do we see any new stuff from Scott and Elliott in year two?

Jan 14, 2016, 7:49 PM

Not that I don't love our current schemes but I'd imagine they have a few tweaks they want to make.

Their progression from the Louisville and ND game to the playoffs was very. Legit. I see them continuing to improve upon that success. Also, I bet Deshaun will have more responsibility kinda like Tajh got with chad.

Deshaun should get the ability to audible at the line

He already can read the defense so well.

Shet with Williams and Cain if he does What he needs, scary but offense even more explosive.

To me they have achieved what Chad never did. We are a smash mouth spread now. To line up on 3rd and Goal from the 1 in the I and let GW44 lead Wayne Train into the endzone is as smash mouth as it gets.

I would hope the do. But yes were straight up power team now. I think you'll see more recruiting big backs. I think our offense will be hard to stop. Power uptempo would be killer.

My goodness that 3rd and goal power run was a sight

for sore eyes. We haven't been able to do that in YEARS.

Hopefully less runs up the middle when the other team has a brick wall on the other side.

I say don't change a thing. Our offense just gave us a national championship winning performance against the best defense in college football, it doesn't get too much better than that. Changes need to be made but not the them.
They kept running up the middle to at least leave a small thought in bama d to cover that and spread the defense around for the run or pass. If we gave up completely on the run up the middle, they would catch on and free up a rush, double team, or cover the sides for Watson rushing with another body.

They definitely evolved in this season. The offense in the latter games of the year used a lot of old single wing plays.

I'd like to see the return of one old play. If Feaster can catch the ball as well as i've heard he can, i'd love to see him run the wheel route like Spiller used to.
