Bottom 6, we have runner on 3rd with one out. Jojo Hyatt at bat with .069 average. Perfect spot for Rittman to pinch hit Viera who is a much better hitter.

Was hoping for a good season. The furman and dirt ###### losses kinda make you reevaluate that we just aren’t any good. Really hope softball isn’t our next womens basketball program. We have one but meh who really knows.

our WBB program has been one of the five worst in the power conferences over the past 20 seasons. Our softball is not going to fall to that abysmal level

It was a well played game and we had a crucial error that gave Duke the winning run and then with a chance to tie or go ahead in the 6th, we couldnt push a run in from 3rd with 1 out. Have no idea why Rittman didnt either bunt Hyatt or pinch hit for her? Really made zero sense unless we had no other catcher available today.

On a positive note, Millie was outstanding today and fun to watch. Stayed afterwards for the senior day and, wow, we are losing pretty much everything. 2025 might be really bad unless they hit a lot of homers in the portal, both at bat and in the circle.
