Did anyone enjoy yesterday's game

36

Oct 8, 2023, 8:33 AM

as much as I did? Tailgated with 6 family members including 3 grandkids and my wife's 1st game in years. Smoking Pig BBQ and homemade fixins' with strawberry pound cake in lieu of belated birthday cake. Then a stop at the famous TigerHawk76 tailgate to meet bretfsu for the 1st time. Also saw MyFav and Jr. and talked with rhettfla about future hunting trips. And all of that was before another close game to keep me in my seat until the last second. I do need an open week.

How could you enjoy your day with all that meeting going on?

Dude, you're supposed to social media these things! FB it, TNET it, #### it!

Who has time in the modern world for something as old-fashioned as face to face revelry???!!

;)

I did, my 1year old grandson's 1st Clemson game! Great tailgate and a Tiger win. No such thing as an ugly win. I will always take the W.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Several in our normal group were unable to make it yesterday (prayers for Tim’s sister would be greatly appreciated) so we headed to lot 2 to visit with the group at TigerHawk76’s tailgate and another group of friends also in lot 2. The game was a little frustrating at times but I don’t understand how anyone wouldn’t have enjoyed that beautiful day at Death Valley. If the frustrations from that game kept you from enjoying the day, I would suggest you reevaluate your priorities.

Can’t wait till the next opportunity to do it all again.

We did. But the I85 traffic on Friday evening from CLT to our hotel room near GSP was abysmal.

Did anyone enjoy yesterday's game ???

ABSOLUTELY!!!

I traveled the 4.5 hours one way, alone only to find friends in Lot 2 before the game, in the Stadium during the game and chatted with my son on the speaker phone as I drove home . . . There is nothing that could have happened to make my day any better . . . other than my Bride being healthy enough to make the trip with me one more time.

My days of coming to Clemson Home Football Games is slowly winding down . . . and I know it . . . so nothing will take away from the tub full of memories that have been created and the few still out there to be grasped . . . I cherish every visit to Tigertown . . . IT is my Sanctuary.

It’s a Great Day to be a TIGER!!!

Can't say I was so lucky.

I prefer the word fortunate over lucky

I believe that I used up most of the luck a long time ago and luck just seems to happen- what I now experience is the direct result of that previous luck.

You did not mention "the game" in that diatribe once...

"The game" was boring, the defense did their part ... no idea at all what this offense is about...

30+ minutes of TV timeouts... I think they should pay me to sit there during the dead time ... and it's dead time in the stadium.

There is a reason Clemson has not gotten back into the top 25 and what we saw Saturday is it...

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Sorry- but that diatribe must have also been so boring

2

that you stopped reading before the second to last sentence? I do believe that the “game” was mentioned once.

Wife ordered it the day before and daughter who lives in Anderson had to pick it up at 10:00 AM on game day - I think that is the earliest time they let you pick it up.
