Could Tony Elliot and Virginia land Arch Manning?
Apr 13, 2022, 8:09 AM
|

I have seen some articles saying it might just happen although just and outside chance
His mom, Ellen is a UVA graduate, while his aunt and Peyton’s wife, Ashley, graduated from the University of Virginia and Peyton gave the Valedictory Address in 2014. Arch Manning’s sister, May, is currently a student at UVA.
What are your thoughts and opinions on if they can surprise the world (All the SEC schools) and get him?

If they get him, they get him. If they don't get him they don't. Thing is Arch will go somewhere and if he is as good as advertised ,then whom ever gets him will have a good quarterback! Those are my thoughts ,simply because I don't have any say so in who gets him!

Texas, and if it ain't working, he'll transfer to Bama.
and if that doesn't work, Coach Prime will gladly take him.

Abraham Lincoln (/?l??k?n/; February 12, 1809 – April 15, 1865) was an American lawyer and statesman who served as the 16th president of the United States from 1861 until his assassination in 1865. Lincoln led the nation through the American Civil War and succeeded in preserving the Union, abolishing slavery, bolstering the federal government, and modernizing the U.S. economy.
Lincoln was born into poverty in a log cabin in Kentucky .
If he was born in Georgia.. maybe.. but clearly states Kentucky

That would be awesome for TE and great for UVA. What a way to start out. Im like most of you, I doubt it happens, but getting him on campus... you never know.

UVA is one the great schools in the world so who knows. Either way, one player is only a start and they have a long way to go in recruiting to be competitive on a national level.

Ultimately...

he's going to pick a school that will not only capitalize on and maximize his NIL opportunities, but also surround him with A LOT of other elite talent. Virginia definitely does not fall into that category.

Complimentary visit for Arch due to family ties. No chance he plays with a first year head coach and inferior talent all around him.

I don't think NIL is gonna be a big factor for a Manning

But I do think team talent and a QB coach that they trust will be the difference. I don't think UVA checks either of those boxes.

Regardless if he signs, he brings a good little bit of publicity to the program with this pop in.

Because of publicity, I don't think he signs with UVA. Not enough fanfare at UVA. I still think SEC. He fits their mantra.

To be honest with his name he is going to create the fanfare by himself. He could go to a NAIA school and make millions and be on sportscenter etc.

Red Parker story
Apr 13, 2022, 9:22 AM
|
|
Red would have a press luncheon on Wednesday at the Clemson House. I would try to go to one a year. Red held up five fingers and said that was the number of tickets Duke and Virginia COMBINED sold to the football game when they played in Clemson. Duke sold 3 and Virginia 2.

I have been to games at Duke and UVa when the Clemson fans clearly outnumbered the home team fans.

Yes. Because Arch is more focused on academics and his future at law school than winning and surviving behind the line of scrimmage.

It would so cool if he did. Besides upsetting all the SEC fans it would be great for the ACC.

The Manning family is SEC royalty. There is NO WAY he goes anywhere other than an SEC school. I still think he will pick between ALA, GA, and TX with Ole Miss as a sentimental favorite but doubtful a serious contender.

Didn't Arch say he would consider coming to Clemson if we fired Tony Elliot? And he wants to go play for the team he's now coaching? No way this is true.
