You know what's funny about his Clemson career is that he had some great catches that we all remember but his career catch total at Clemson was only 33 and 3 TDs.

Thank you for posting this. I grew up with Dwight in Charlotte and we were the same class at Clemson. He was a really good dude and a great athlete. He used to wear me out in basketball when we were in HS.

I played pickup basketball, intermural, and IFC basketball in Fike from 1976 to 1980. Dwight C. was the best baller I ever played against in Fike. That includes Murray Jarman.

He was just a great athlete. He actually played QB in HS which is why he was a late bloomer as a receiver in college, and I believe he led his HS team (Garinger) in scoring in basketball. He also had the state record in the 440 at one point. Just a great dude and a life that was too short.
